The Father Brown Mysteries
Father Brown is a nondescript priest who somehow gets involved in a number of short stories. An early series of cozies, it could be considered a progenitor of many modern mysteries, including Agatha Christie and other traditional stories. The series is now more famous for the television adaptation.
