K. L. Kovar
K. L. Kovar is an economist who spent eighteen long years toiling in Washington, D.C. She fled to the Wyoming Black Hills to work with Native American tribes on health care financing and management innovations, While in D.C., she published extensively in professional journals. To offset the boredom of writing dry, multi-syllabic papers with a potential audience of twenty people, she began writing fiction. Her interests include geology, paleontology, astronomy, reading science fiction and mysteries, Elvis Presley, Steppenwolf, and wandering around by herself in other countries, where she has often had to rely on the kindness of strangers to find her way. She fulfilled life-long dreams of attending both a major ComicCon and the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, and is now seeking a new life-long dream.
