Nancy Lewis Shelton
Nancy Lewis Shelton’s published works include children’s and adult short stories, devotions, inspirational pieces, and magazine articles. She has been published in Chicken Soup for the Soul, the Guardian Angel e-zine, Creative Collections anthology, Upper Room, Fifty-Plus and Ozarks Maturity magazines. Shelton has been a Missouri educator and a part-time pet sitter for most of her life. Now retired, she enjoys volunteering in her church, singing in the Drury Community Choir, and tutoring second graders in reading at an area public school. She has coordinated a volunteer storytelling group, Storytellers of the Ozarks, for many years. You might find her digging in the garden, playing bridge, or enjoying a board game with her grandchildren. Nancy lives in southwest Missouri with her black Lab, Robin, and her cat, Fred. Her married daughter and six grandchildren are frequent visitors. She is a member of the Springfield Writer’s Guild and the area retired teachers’ association.
