I’ve always loved to read. Like many children, I read comics, then progressed to Nancy Drew and Agatha Christie, then on to Stephen King, Michael Crichton, Sue Grafton and Peter Robinson. Mysteries have always been my genre of choice but I often step outside to other works of fiction. Decades later, I have written an extensive family history, a cookbook (Comfort Food), a gardening book (Goodbye Grass!), a mystery novel (Murder in the Green Room) and a fantasy novel for pre-teens (The Strange Journey Home). I have updated and annotated my favourite childhood novel, Floating Island (Anne Parrish), and one of my all-time favourites, The Chrysalids (John Wyndham). I live in Edmonton with my husband and two mischievous cats, Hot Dog and Ding Dong. As well as writing and reading, i enjoy gardening, cross stitch, a casual walk in the park and binge watching mystery series.
