Sally J. Ling
Sally J. Ling is known as Florida’s History Detective and is an author, speaker, and historian. She writes historical nonfiction, specializing in little known yet fascinating stories about Florida history, historical fiction, and mysteries with a Florida component. As a special correspondent, she wrote for the Sun Sentinel newspaper for four years and was a contributing journalist for several South Florida magazines. Based upon her books, Sally appeared in three TV documentaries–“Gangsters”–National Geographic Channel, “Prohibition and the South Florida Connection” and “The Secret Weapon that Won World War II”–WLRN, Miami. Two additional short documentaries based upon her books “Small Town, Big Secrets” and “Who Killed Leno and Louise,” aired on WLRN (Miami).
